Job Description:
European Massage Company is looking for 2 FT/PT massage therapists to be part of our team. The therapists are expected to be reliable, customer service oriented and professional. They need to have an excellent knowledge of anatomy, physiology and the techniques provided at EMC. Must have a minimum one year experience and minimum 650 hours of training including NMT, MFR and deep tissue. Massage therapist is expected to do soap charts and follow up with clients if needed. Some networking involved. Must be a team player and willing to grow professionally and personally. Must be outgoing, honest, hard working, confident, outspoken and willing to learn. Our sessions are 50 minutes session or more. Clients get 10 minutes for undress (and redress).
Required Qualifications:
Minimum one year experience, minimum 650 hours of training including MFR, NMT and deep tissue. Serious inquiry only, please!
Therapist will be:
- An employee.
- Paid hourly or commission according to number of massages DOA
- Retaining the full amount of tips (paid daily)
- Required to have a MT license and Professional Liability Insurance.
- Required to perform other tasks: Clerical, patient treatments, product sale, rescheduling.
- Required to record notes
- Expected to help build business such as retaining clientele, rescheduling, being comfortable with creating a treatment plan for clients and follow up as needed
- Provided with clients as well as responsible for building clientele
- Required to sign a Noncompeting and Nondisclosure agreement

EMC is a three room professional massage center that specializes in treatment work, pain relief and relaxation. Our main focus is to help people live pain free, bring them back into balance and educate them about healthy choices in their lives. Our business is known for the highest quality massages and we receive many referrals from local physicians, chiropractors and physical therapists. I expect our therapists to be able to assess clients quickly, perform their treatments efficiently, follow up with clients and reschedule them as needed or desired.
Monthly training and mentoring is provided. Health insurance is available for a FT position after a probation period. Our near term goal is to provide a professional workplace with ongoing benefits such as paid vacations and profit sharing.
